The individual will be responsible for creating a profitable new revenue stream of $xxmm in the next five years. Focus will be on the government, large and medium business segments.
Responsibilities:
· Lead the development and flawless execution of Managed Services organization and related services.
· Develop a set of managed services capabilities to differentiate/enhance Rogers business services and drive new revenue streams.
· Work closely with M2M and Professional Services groups to determine Managed Services opportunities.
· Monitor competitive trends and determine strategies to maintain Rogers advantage.
· Lead and manage the team's performance - this includes setting individual performance objectives, providing ongoing coaching, guidance and support and supporting the career development of direct reports
· Manage the Managed Services P&L to ensure business targets are met.
· Develop and monitor a set of KPI's appropriate to the business

| Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Communications, RMI, the Director of Communications will be responsible for the following day-to-day activities:
Work closely with the Rogers Publishing President and senior leadership team to support corporate and brand objectives and initiatives
Execute the Pride in Publishing strategic internal communications campaign to inform and engage employees; generate culture that brings enthusiasm and instills pride
Integrate internal and external communications activities across key internal divisions and functional teams within Rogers Media and Rogers Communications
Identify opportunities to increase profile, build brand reputation, and influence external perceptions
Liaise with stakeholders - including business partners, magazine industry, government, public - to drive alignment to Publishing business strategy
Develop and lead all communications activities - including traditional and social media - across robust portfolio of Publishing brands; oversee all media materials and tools, including Town Halls, forums, and executive appearances and speaking engagements
Oversee all media relations, and act as company spokesperson as necessary
Develop key messaging and manage crisis communications
Foster relationships with key media to support communications campaigns and maximize media coverage
Manage the department's budget

| Support the Joint Venture Representatives in the management of the Apache Canada Service Agreements, Unit Agreements and CO&O’s
Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all agreements related to assigned properties
Prepare new Joint Venture Contracts (Tie-in, Service, Contract Op, Unit, CO&O’s etc.) as per the direction of the Joint Venture Representatives
Administration of the existing contract base and ensure that the contract terms are translated to accurate billings
Review non-operated agreements and provide recommendations for preferred terms of contract
Perform & recommend initial fee calculations for third party service arrangements
Perform periodic area reviews
Respond to internal and external queries, including accounting, audit and legal as they relate to operated and non-operated Agreements
Review or complete first flows/workflows to act as a checks and balance to ensure appropriate agreements are in place for new production
Assist the Joint Venture Reps in providing Joint Venture support to Business Units
Assist in the review and implementation of Joint Interest business arrangements related to acquisitions and divestitures
At the discretion of the Joint Venture Representative, review operated and non-operated 13th month adjustments
